Deborah Richelieu’s experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families. She is especially passionate about working with newly married couples who are adjusting to the first few years of life after marriage.
For several years, she assisted with the couple’s ministry at her local church, by providing pre-marital counseling, individual counseling as needed and other various responsibilities as a lay minister. She has also worked with young adults, providing career coaching and counseling through life stages.
Deborah believes in using an individual’s strengths to help reach new and useful solutions, which can be applied in everyday life challenges. Her passion for family therapy stems from a core belief that restoration is possible for individuals, couples, and family systems.
Deborah Richelieu completed her undergraduate degree at Southeastern University studying Psychology and Family Counseling. She furthered her studies at Nova Southeastern University where she graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Deborah Richelieu is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida, certified Symbis instructor who is also fluent in Haitian-Creole.
