CEO & Clinical Director
Aline-Vanya Guillaume is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Therapy Terrace, a faith-based private practice serving individuals, couples, and families across Florida.
Her clinical journey began in the foster care system, where she worked in licensing foster and adoptive homes. After two years, she transitioned into a leadership role as the Manager of the Women and Children’s Shelter at the Miami Rescue Mission. It was during her five and a half years there that she encountered some of the most complex and traumatic life experiences, which she credits as a pivotal time in her growth as a clinician.
That season of her career shaped her deep passion for working with unprocessed trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and emotional healing through Christian counseling.
In addition to her clinical work, Aline-Vanya partners with churches and faith-based organizations to help normalize conversations around mental health and the Bible, bridging the gap between spiritual and emotional well-being.
Aline-Vanya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Qualified Supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami and her Master of Social Work from Florida International University.
With over a decade of experience, Aline-Vanya has provided care to hundreds of individuals across various settings, including homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and community-based agencies. She specializes in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, crisis intervention, and suicidal ideation, offering compassionate, culturally aware, and faith-integrated care.
Aline-Vanya believes that healing is possible and is passionate about helping individuals move from surviving to truly thriving.
