Below are 5 facts about our couples intensive and a snapshot of our intensive facilitator.

Our 4-Hour Couples Intensive is designed for couples who need dedicated, uninterrupted time to address the heart of their challenges. Unlike traditional weekly sessions, this extended format allows you to move beyond surface-level conversations and begin making meaningful progress in a single, structured experience.
1Why Choose a Couples Intensive Instead of Weekly Therapy?
Weekly therapy can be helpful—but sometimes it’s not enough. When sessions are spaced out, it can take weeks or even months to fully unpack deeper issues. A couples intensive creates the space to address concerns in real time without losing momentum and gain clarity on next steps without prolonged uncertainty.
2Who is this for?
This intensive is ideal for couples who are experiencing ongoing conflict or communication breakdowns, navigating betrayal, trust issues, or unresolved wounds, and facing a major decision (stay, separate, rebuild). Whether you're in crisis or simply want to strengthen your relationship, this format allows for deeper, more intentional work.
3What to Expect During Your 4-Hour Intensive
Your session is structured to help you move from awareness → understanding → action. During your intensive, we will: Identify core relationship patterns and underlying dynamics. We will also explore emotional triggers and unmet needs. The goal is to process unresolved hurts in a guided, supportive space and develop practical tools you can apply immediately.
4Our Approach: Clinical + Faith-Based
At Therapy Terrace, we integrate evidence-based therapy approaches with a Christian, faith-informed perspective when desired. This means our session is grounded in clinical best practices while incorporating faith, prayer, and biblical principles.
5Scheduling & Next Steps
All couples intensives begin with a consultation to ensure this format is the right fit for your needs. Intensives are available to couples across Florida virtually and in-person.
